Maternity Leave

blog2It’s that time again, my second round of maternity leave from photography. I hate to do it but with twins growing in my belly, I have to be extra, extra careful! I am hoping to pick the camera back up this June. Who knows what life is going to throw my way!

Regardless, we are getting ready for babies Heath River and Jed Adam. We are so excited to be adding two more boys to our clan (and still in a bit of shock!)

Here are the beautiful pictures that Kayla Justine Photography took of my family and some maternity shots. She is truly amazing and I suggest anyone looking for a photographer to check out her work!
Happy Spring Everyone! I plan to make this blog a little more personal in the upcoming months and share my experience with the twins!

Playing Catch Up

I’m pretty good at getting my camera out for my own family outings but I’m horrible about sitting down and doing something with them! And ever since we found out we’re having twins, my whole world has been nothing short of chaotic! But here are a few pics from the past months that have flown by. Gosh, what am I gonna be like when the twins get here?! Eek!

For our 3rd year anniversary we went to Kemah for the weekend and took a private sunset sail complete with a dinner! It was cold and windy but so much fun! (this was in Feb!)

For the fourth of July we spontaneously decided to check out the parade in The Woodlands. The boys LOVED all the firetrucks and cool cars. Then at night we had fun with sparklers. blog4blog5blog6blog7blog8blog9blog10blog11Beau has become such a sweet and independent 3 year old. I can’t believe I have a 3 year old! blog12And my Tripp is in the I-do-whatever-the-heck-I-want stage–fun stuff keeping up with him! blog13

For our tree this year we went to a christmas tree farm and cut down our own (11ft) tree! It was fun except Tripp was a tad irritable ha! I’m hoping to make this a tradition. With four boys, I think this will be one we can stick with!blog14blog16blog17blog18blog19
