Belle of Lace bio picture
  • Hi!

    Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my work. I tell people this all the time and I'll say it on here, I am continually growing as an artist. It just doesn't stop! So thank you for being a part of my journey!

    I started out working primarily with boudoir sessions. I lovvvve it and NEVER thought I would venture out into anything other than just that! However, like I just mentioned, I have grown. I am so excited to have been able to experience other types of sessions and have fallen in love. I love working with all sorts of people! So I now offer a variety of sessions!

    Here you will find my recent work and occasionally a glimpse into my personal life. Because I do a lot of boudoir, please do not be shocked by a 'PG-13' photo. :)

    Thank you everyone for your continued support and please visit again! :)

Mallory+Derek {Conroe, TX Engagements}

This session is one for the books! Not only are some of the shots my favorite that I’ve ever done, but it was quite an interesting afternoon. When we arrived at the location we saw a big cloud coming our way and I thought, “hmm, I should probably get some good sun shots in now before I lose the sun for good.” I don’t know why I didn’t follow my gut, but I didn’t take those shots. We started shooting and laughing and they told me all about their love story. About 20 minutes into the session, it started to drizzle…”Nah,” I thought. “The forecast said there was only a 10% chance of rain and it’s been gorgeous all day…” within minutes it was pouring! I quickly hid my camera under my shirt and we ran back to our cars. Through our car windows, I looked at Mallory and mouthed, “WANNA JUST GO WITH IT??” I certainly wasn’t done with the session and needed more pictures. They were both so easy going, we went with it! They started dancing and kissing in the rain…laughing…who cares if we got soaked!! It couldn’t have been more perfect! Could there be any other two gorgeous people who get soaked and still look absolutely stunning?! You can’t even tell that they are soaked in most of the pictures! After about 15 minutes of a down pour, the clouds opened up and the sun started shining. I could still get my sun shots!!

We originally were gonna do some shots at the track where Derek rides dirt bikes, but it was closed due to the recent storms. I was really excited to do something different at the tracks but I’m honestly so happy with the way it all turned out! And Derek still got to wear his gear.—We then quickly got some margaritas and it was a perfect ending to a perfect session!:)

I had a very hard time choosing which photos to blog and which ones to leave out because I just love so many!!

Mallory and Derek, ya’ll are amazing! You are both beautiful and your love for each other is just beaming from your hearts. I can’t wait to be the second shooter at your wedding next May with Carolyn Kipper Photography!

Autumn&Matt {Houston, Tx Engagements}

Autumn and Matt had already had engagement pictures done up in Michigan where they currently live. So knowing that, (I’m friends with Autumn) I was a tad confused as to why she wanted more done. Until she mentioned Matt’s grandfather’s old ’37 plymouth car. I LOOVVEEE old cars! And I LOOVVEEE sessions that have sentimental meaning! This was such a fun session! The light was a bit harsh but we HAD to have the car parked there so we could get downtown Houston in the background! These were taken at Sabine St. Bridge at Buffalo Bayou.

So much fun!! I love sessions like this!

Christena {Maternity Old Town Spring}

I love, love, love doing maternity shoots!! There is something so beautiful and magnificent about how these sessions go. Even if the mom is worried about how she looks, without a doubt, she looks gorgeous. And I LOVE capturing that.

This is Christena. We met a few years ago and she contacted me when she got pregnant to do her maternity pictures and I was thrilled! I mean, how can you not be with such a gorgeous girl like this?! It was absolutely the coldest morning ever. One of those days when all you want to do is stay in bed. She actually texted me that morning asking if she could and as tempting as it was, I knew we had to catch the sun at its prime time to get what both Christena and I wanted out of this session. And I think they turned out great!!

The best part is, I have the exact same dress and Christena rocked it better than I ever could!!:)blog1blog2blog3blog4blog5blog6blog8blog9blog10blog11blog12blog14
