A little personal post. We go to Wimberley,TX for our little family get-away every year. We love the river and relaxing! So peaceful!
So most of you know, but maybe some don’t, I’ve been in school for the past 2.5 years. I look back now when I started and my first son, Beau was only 5 months old (he turns 3 on Monday!) and I was still in a fog from getting married, buying a house, having a baby, and moving all within 6 months. Now here I am with TWO KIDDOS and a completely different outlook on life. Going back to school to get my master’s in Mental Clinical Health Counseling was the BEST decision I ever made. It has made me a better individual, a stronger mom, a respectful wife, and has taught me how to be ME. [Plus I got free therapy out of the whole thing! Bam!]
Some friends that I am graduating with wanted some fun graduation pictures so we all got together in The Woodlands at Towns Green Park one Sunday and just goofed around. The pride we share is so obvious and just beaming from our hearts.
I can’t thank my family and friends enough for the support they’ve given me the past 2.5 years. It has been a long ride all at the same time the quickest years of my life. LOVE YOU ALL!
And so I have to thank my clients as well. Not only did you help me start paying off some student loans, but you gave me a chance to explore the artistic side of me that I was kinda insecure about/didn’t know existed, I’ve loved every minute of it! [Ok maybe not EVERY minute, like those hot summer days or those fuh-reeeezing times in December…] Now if you could just continue to help me pay off my loans!!! (wink, wink…send friends my way!)

So funny story here…
Adam went to high school with my husband and also went to Texas State. So naturally I met him way back 8 or so years ago and we all would hang out. Around that same time my younger sister was up at UT Arlington and met Britney, becoming one of her best friends. Britney transferred to Texas State and worked at a popular river tube rental place where Adam happened to work as well. They met, fell in love… and then I get the call from my sister, “Hey, do you know someone named Adam Starr??” “Um yes! I love the Starr boys!” ” Well my friend Britney is dating him!!”
What a small world!!! I LOVE when people come together like that!
Anyways, fast forward a few years and they’re now engaged and getting married in November. My sister is actually in the wedding! Couldn’t be more happy for Adam and Britney!! I was thrilled to do their engagements! We did these at The Woodlands waterway and Towns Green Park. Thanks for hiring me for your photos, Adam and Britney!
